Karim Ali has more than 20 years of experience in workplace safety management and risk control across high-risk industries including energy, construction, manufacturing and infrastructure.
Over the past several years he has prepared more than 100 expert reports in workers' compensation and public liability matters. His work commonly involves analysing workplace incidents, assessing compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation, and evaluating whether duty holders implemented reasonably practicable risk controls.
Karim provides independent expert opinions to assist courts, tribunals and legal practitioners in understanding complex WHS issues. Expert instructions are accepted from both plaintiff and defendant law firms, subject to independence and conflict considerations.
