Karim Ali is a Fellow Chartered Health and Safety Professional of both the Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS) and the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). He holds a Master's degree in WHS Management and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, and brings more than two decades of experience managing safety risks across complex, high-risk industries.
Over the past five years, Karim has prepared more than 100 independent expert witness opinion reports on public liability and workplace injury matters — including psychosocial hazards, manual handling, slips, trips and falls, being struck by moving or dropped objects, and related workplace safety incidents. His work consistently provides evidence-based, impartial analysis to assist the court.
Karim is also Head of Occupational Safety at Origin Energy and Principal Consultant of SafetyDeeds Pty Ltd. His experience spans high-risk industries including energy, construction, manufacturing and infrastructure.
