Credentials in Expert Witness Work
Courts and tribunals assess the credibility of an expert witness in part by reference to their formal qualifications and professional standing. An expert with recognised chartered professional credentials in their field is better placed to explain their opinion with authority and to withstand cross-examination from opposing counsel than an expert whose qualifications are less formally recognised.
